Step 1: Configure Group Subscription Settings

  1. Open your Dashboard and navigate to BuddyBoss > Settings > Groups.
  2. Under the Groups settings, locate the Subscription option and enable it.

Step 2: Understand Automatic Subscription and Unsubscription

  1. Members are automatically subscribed to a group when they:
    • Join a public group
    • Accept an invitation to join a group
    • Are accepted into a private group
  2. Conversely, members are automatically unsubscribed if they:
    • Leave the group
    • Are removed from the group

Step 3: Manage Notification Settings

  1. Go to Profile > Account > Notification Settings.

    • New post in a group you’re subscribed to
    • New discussion in a group you’re subscribed to
