Configuring Profile Fields for Specific Profile Types
Access Profile Settings
- Navigate to BuddyBoss > Profiles.
- Click New Field Set to create a new group of profile fields.
Create Field Sets for Different Profile Types
- Enter a name for the field set based on the profile type, such as:
- Coach Information
- Student Information
- Click Save to create the field set.
Add Fields to a Profile Type
For Coaches:
- Click on Coach Information.
- Click Add New Field.
- Enter Coach Experience as the field name.
- Set the field as:
- Required
- Publicly Visible
- Restrict the field to Coaches:
- In the right panel, limit the field to Coach profile type.
- This ensures only Coaches see the Coach Experience field.
- During registration, this field appears only when a user selects Coach as their profile type.
- Click Save.
For Students:
- Click on Student Information.
- Click Add New Field.
- Enter School History as the field name.
- Set the field as:
- Required
- Publicly Visible
- Restrict the field to Students:
- In the right panel, limit the field to Student profile type.
- This ensures only Students see the School History field.
- During registration, this field appears only when a user selects Student as their profile type.
- Click Save.
