Enabling Connection Auto Follow

1. Enable the Follow Feature

Before enabling Auto Follow, the Follow feature must be active:

1. In your Dashboard, go to BuddyBoss > Settings > Activity.
2. Check the box next to Follow to activate it.
3. Click Save Changes to apply the settings.

2. Enable Auto Follow for Connections

This setting ensures that members automatically follow each other when they connect:

1. In your Dashboard, navigate to BuddyBoss > Settings > Connections.
2. Check the box for Auto Follow to enable it.
3. Click Save Changes to confirm.

Verifying the Auto Follow Feature

After enabling Auto Follow, test it to ensure it functions as expected.

Example Scenario:

• John sends a connection request to April. At this point, John is neither connected to nor following April.

Verification Steps:

1. Log in as April in a separate browser window.
2. Go to Profile Dropdown > Connections > Pending Requests.
3. Locate John’s request and click Accept.

4. Switch back to John’s account.
   • John receives a notification that April accepted the request.
   • John is now both connected to and following April.

5. To confirm:
   • Go to April’s profile and click the three-dot menu.
   • The Unfollow button should be visible, indicating that John is following April.
