How to Configure Profile  and Group Avatar Display Name in BuddyBoss Platform

Introduction

The Profile Avatar Display Name feature ensures that every member and group has a recognizable profile image, even if they haven’t uploaded one. Instead of blank avatars, initial-based avatars are automatically generated using the user’s first name or the group name.

This feature enhances engagement and personalization while maintaining user privacy. Whether you’re building a professional network or a casual community, it ensures every profile and group has a unique visual identity.
