Configuring Free Trials or Introductory Offers for Subscriptions

You have subscriptions set up for both your iOS and Android apps and would like to offer free trials or introductory offers to users. 

Important Note:

• You only need to configure the free trial in App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
• There is no need to set up anything inside the BuddyBoss app plugin > In-app Purchase section.

For App Store Connect (iOS):

1. Select your app in App Store Connect.
2. Click “Subscriptions” in the left menu.
3. Choose the subscription, then go to “Subscription Prices” > “View All Subscription Pricing”.

4. Set up an Introductory Offer:

• Select the countries where the offer applies.
• Set the start date and end date.

Set Up Introductory Offers for Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

For Google Play Console:

1. Select your app in Google Play Console.
2. Go to Monetize with Play > Subscriptions.
3. Select the subscription product.
4. Since you already have a Base Plan, click “Add Offer”.

5. Fill out the required details.
6. Under “Phases”, click “Add Phase”, then select “Free Trial”.
