Change the default login page

If you want to use another page as your default login page, by default, the platform does not have this option. However, you can use the following function code.

Please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Appearance > Theme Editor.

2. Under “Select theme to edit”, choose (BuddyBoss Child/whatever theme is active), then click “Select”.

3. Below Theme Files, select Theme Functions (functions.php).

4. Append the code just before the closing PHP tag “?>”:

function my_login_page( $login_url) { return ( 'YOUR_URL_HERE' ); } add_filter( 'login_url', 'my_login_page', 10 );

NOTE: Replace YOUR_URL_HERE with your desired URL for the login page. Make sure that login form is added on the page  and that the URL is added in Public /Website Content section if Private Website is enabled to avoid redirection loop.

5. Click Update File to save the changes.

Note: Any modifications are considered as custom work already. Know more about our Support Policy here: https://www.buddyboss.com/support-policy/
