Remove the Generate Password Button on the Password Reset Page

By default, the platform does not have this option. You can use the following function code.

Please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Appearance > Theme Editor.

2. Under Select theme to edit, choose (BuddyBoss Child/whatever theme is active), then click Select.

3. Below Theme Files, select Theme Functions (functions.php).

4. Append the code just before the closing PHP tag “?>”:

add_filter( 'random_password', 'disable_random_password', 10, 2 ); function disable_random_password( $password ) { $action = isset( $_GET['action'] ) ? $_GET['action'] : ''; if ( 'wp-login.php' === $GLOBALS['pagenow'] && ( 'rp' == $action || 'resetpass' == $action ) ) { return ''; } return $password; } function login_fields_border() { echo '<style> button.button.wp-generate-pw.hide-if-no-js { display: none !important; } </style>'; } add_action('login_head', 'login_fields_border');

5. Click Update File to save the changes.
