Error: Unable to Connect to Your App (Publishing service – Google Play Store)

Before proceeding further, ensure that you’ve met all the requirements listed in the error message:
– A release build is uploaded to the Google Play Console.

– The Service Account Key has been granted all necessary permissions.

If you see the following warning (highlighted in yellow):

The service account key provided does not have all the required permissions. Please resolve this in your Google Developer account

Ensure that you’ve added your Service Account to the Users and Permissions section in the Google Play Console and granted it the necessary permissions (you can give it Admin access to be sure).

You may refer to the tutorial and notes below:

– Jump to Step 2 to create a service account if you haven’t done so already. 

– Alternatively, skip to Step 3 to learn how to add the service account email to the Users and Permissions page and grant it the necessary permissions.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue and ensure that your service account has the appropriate permissions. Once you have completed these tasks, return to your backend to retry submitting an Android publish request (PR).
