Dormant Account: Developer account is not in use

Reference screenshot:

If you receive this notice from Google (via email or on Play Console), it means that your Developer Account is inactive and they marked it for closure due to inactivity.

The email will outline the steps you must take to maintain your Developer Account, as well as the deadline for completing these actions. Failure to follow these instructions will result in the permanent closure of your Developer Account, and the registration fee will not be refunded.

Here are the steps you need to complete:

1. Verify your contact details

  • Sign in to Play Console.
  • Go to the Account Details page (All apps > Account details) and complete the email and phone number verification.
  • Click Save

2. Create and publish an app, or publish an update to an existing app on Google Play.

Note: If you are not yet ready to make your app public, you can use Internal app sharing, Internal testing, or Closed testing to safely upload the app without making it generally available.
