How to Make the Post Comment Truncated with the Read More Button

By default, the platform does not have this option. You can use the following JavaScript code to make the post comment truncated and add “Read More” button

Please follow the steps below:

    1. Go to BuddyBoss – Theme Options.

    2. Under Custom Codes, enable JavaScript.

    3. Append the following:

                '<a class="read-more-comment" href="#"> Read More</a>');

            $(this).find('.comment-excerpt').hide();

            $(this).on('click', '.read-more-comment', function(e) {
                e.preventDefault();
                var excerptElem = $(this).prev('.comment-excerpt');
                excerptElem.toggle();
                if (!excerptElem.is(':hidden')) {
                    $(this).hide();
                }
            });
        }
    });
});

    4. Click Save Changes.
