Enabling the Account Settings

  1. Go to BuddyBoss > Components in the WordPress Dashboard.
  2. Activate the Account Settings component.
  1. Once activated, the Account option will appear in the profile dropdown menu for members.

Managing the Account Settings

Updating the Login Information

  1. Click on your profile dropdown menu.
  2. Select Account.
  3. Under the Login Information section:
    • Change the Account Email.
    • Add a New Password.
    • Click Save Changes to update the login credentials.

Adjusting the Privacy Settings

  1. In the Privacy section, manage profile visibility:
    • Set specific profile fields to be visible to All Members, My Connections, or Only Me.
    • Example: The Last Name can be set to All Members, while the Profile Type remains visible only to My Connections.
    • Click Save Changes to apply the privacy settings.

Restricting the Group Invites

  1. In the Group Invites section, check the box to restrict group invites to connected members only.
