Disable Forums but Display it for Logged-out Users

To disable forums for logged-out users, you have to use the private network first to restrict logged-out users from accessing the content of your website. Once done, follow the steps below:

    1. Navigate to the BuddyBoss dashboard – Settings – General – Privacy

    2. Enable the Private Website and click on “Save Settings“. 

    3. The page will refresh and will you have the Public Website Content, and add the link to your forum to make it publicly visible.

    4. Click on”Save Settings” again to apply the changes.

    5. Go to BuddyBoss dashboard – Settings – Forums

    6. Under Forum Settings, disable the Anonymous posting option to make sure that logged users can only view your forum discussion and they cannot create any replies and comments. 

    7. Don’t forget to click on “Save Settings” below the page.
