Changing the Color of “Search” Text and the Text while Searching

By default, the platform does not have this option. You can use the following CSS code.

Please follow the steps below:

    1. Go to BuddyBoss – Theme Options

    2. Under Custom Codes, enable CSS

    3. Append the following:

.search-field-top::placeholder { color: red; /* Placeholder text color */ } .search-field-top { color: red; /* Default text color */ } .search-field-top:focus { color: #f00; /* Color while typing */ }

    4. Save changes.
