When a client wants their users to automatically unsubscribe to the group when getting banned/failing to pay their subscription and avoid getting emails, we can recommend that they get Keap Automation along with Memberium.
Keap can put a “Forum join tag” and a “Forum leave tag” depending on what the user did.
When the user purchases the subscription it puts the “forum join tag” on the user account and BuddyBoss sees this and adds the user to the group/forum
So if the user’s credit card monthly payment failed, it would put the ” Forum leave tag” on their account the same as if the user canceled the membership.
Memberium would see this tag as a “membership” in its plugin and then put a WordPress role on the user’s account, then uncanny Automator sees the change in the WordPress user role and removes the individual from the group/forum.
They can also have Keap billing automation running, so that if the payment fails, it puts the “Forum leave tag” and if the payment succeeds after failing it removes the “forum leave tag” and adds the “forum join tag”
