If you made your blog public but you want to require users to log in before they can post a comment, follow the instructions below to configure it:
1. Navigate to WordPress Settings – Discussion – Other comment settings section.
2. Enable Users must be registered and logged in to comment. You may refer to this screenshot:
3. Don’t forget to click on “Save Changes” below the page to apply the setting.
