The BuddyBoss App can run independently without the need for a live site, In fact, you can launch your community or membership program mobile-only and then launch your live website interface for your audience later on.
The way it works is that you have the BuddyBoss App connects directly to the WordPress backend. It pulls and sends data, to and from the WordPress database. All you need is a WordPress installation so you can use the WordPress CMS, BuddyBoss Platform plugin, and/or LearnDash to power your mobile app.
And we built it in such a way that a website is not required at all.
